Crafting growth through creativity... and gin. Matt is one of Australia’s leading strategists and storytellers, an expert at the intersection of brand, business, leadership, culture, technology and human behaviour. Matt's journey is as diverse as his interests, spanning economics, politics, brand experience... and gin.

As one of three co-founders, and the brand brains behind Four Pillars, Matt connects the dots between brand and purpose theory and gritty business and delivery reality. His storytelling is insightful, engaging, energising and highly relatable to all kinds of businesses. 

Matt has always been focused on stories, thinking and processes of creative strategy, advising brands and businesses at all stages from some of the biggest enterprises in the world to some of Australia’s most exciting start-ups and social organisations.

Matt is obsessed with sport, food, photography, wine, film, travel, politics, ideas, fiction, architecture, technology, design, hotels, ideas, experiences, cinema, art, ideas and (yes) gin.

Rebecca Bourne Jones

Rebecca began life in arts marketing and management before her career took a swift left turn into the world of gin ten years ago.

With a degree in Communications (UTS) and a Masters of Management in Arts Management (UTS), Rebecca started her career in London in 2002 where she had a series of marketing, communications, and development roles for organisations including the National Theatre, Imperial War Museum and Churchill War Rooms.

Returning to Sydney in 2006, Rebecca worked with Sydney Festival and Sydney Youth Orchestras. She was also lucky enough to work with the Madison Square Park Conservancy in New York for a brief interlude in 2009.  

In 2013 Rebecca became a founding partner in Four Pillars Gin, and brought her arts experience to create an entirely new approach to brand building in the Australian spirits industry.

We think differently about problems that are anchored in brand purpose and storytelling.
